Gotham chapter was excited to be a recipient of Simone I. Smith's SISMAS holiday box and to participate in this National holiday. This years theme "Cowgirl!" SISMAS is a beautiful way to spend time with your sister friends for the holiday season.
We also answered the call for our Pink Envelope Letter campaign to our Senators to vote on the passage of S.5226, the Sickle Cell Disease Treatment Centers Act of 2024, and H.R. 9872. These bills aim to address the critical healthcare needs of individuals affected by Sickle Cell Disease and other heritable hemoglobinopathies.
Gotham Ladies & Teens answered the call to serve on Thanksgiving at Perfecting Faith Church pastored by Donald McClurklin Jr. We hosted, served and provided personal shopping experiences to over 300 guests on one of the coldest, rainiest days of the year.

Community Partner-The Mary Brennan Inn
The Mary Brennan Inn is one of our long standing community partners. As we celebrate over 24 years of partnering, Gotham Chapter ladies enjoyed supporting the first annual dance- a- thon in addition to answering the call for donations of diapers. Gotham donated over 700 diapers and 300 wipes.

Status of Women
Lady Tiphani White King was a panelist at this years. WE Women's Executive Summit held at the Crescent Beach Club where attendees took part in over 25 workshops that covered yoga, financial planning, networking, estate planning, mental health and wellness. We participated in mindfulness and left with wonderful goodies to help our daily work and home life.
Sisterly Bonding & Service

Gotham's First Vice president Lady Cydney & Director of Operations Lady Alisha worked both behind and in front the scene to support the celebration of our newest Area II chapter, Tri City Gems in Albany, New York!
Gotham Top Ladies and Lords enjoyed an all White Affair hosted by our very own Lord Andre. We work together to enrich our communities and the lives of others, and we play together partying with purpose.
Gotham Chapter has the honor to host the 2024 41st Area II Leadership Conference in New York. We were excited to do all things NY including Bagels, hotdogs, cheesecake, NY Chips, popcorn and candy. We provided an informational on what NY is known for and one of the highlights was to celebrate our community partners and supporters and our 32nd Anniversary.
Gotham Chapter welcomed 5 new ladies at the start of our 41st Leadership Conference. We were honored to have in attendance our National Leadership, President & CEO Eddie Lee Marsh, First VP, Jackquline Wilcher, Second VP Kendra Gillespie, and our Area II Director Hope Ruffin.

Gotham Chapter was happy to partner with Theodore Roosevelt Council of The Boy Scouts Of America, Nassau County to support their collection of Items to assist the unhoused with the necessary items for cold weather. Gotham donated over 70 hats, gloves, and scarves for the cause.

Gotham Volunteers
Gotham supports their long standing Community Partner, The Greater Allen Cathedral with toy donations and volunteering on the 10th Anniversary of Christmas on The Boulevard. Over 1,200 registered guest and over 300 unregistered guests were able to receive pantry items and toys for children, and prayer.
Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. focuses on Sickle Cell & The Warriors
Gotham Chapter collected blankets for Sickle Cell Warriors during the month of December. Lady Joyce Gotham's
Sickle Cell Chair and 2nd. Vice President delivered the blankets to Mama Rochester who will deliver to Sickle Cell Warriors in the community.
Gotham Ladies & Teens volunteered at Perfecting Faith Church, Pastored by Donnie Mcclurklin on Thanksgiving Day! What a blessing to the community as the guest were served a wonderful meal, were able to receive medical screening, new clothing items, haircuts and mindfulness treatments all free of charge! It's always a blessing to be a blessing!

The rain did not stop the volunteers to set up the plants and beds for planting. Stay tuned for the rain date in May.
Gotham Top Teens & Ladies along with Preparatory Academy of Writers completed the planting. We are excited that the first group of plants are doing very well.
